Mischa Barton was born on the 24th of January, 1986 in Hammersmith, the United Kingdom. On the television series The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. She has also appeared on screen in The Sixth Sense a movie filled with suspense. She was also in the suspense movie called The Sixth Sensation. which she starred in was a cult TV series. The O.C. is a very popular TV series that featured her. along with Benjamin McKenzie who played her lover. She played her lover. Barton first appeared on television in 1994 playing an untried Corvina Lang as a flashback character in the soap-opera All My Children. In 1996, she appeared on the series in the role of Michelle Trachtenberg in the role as Lily Benton Montgomery. Katie Singer appeared in eight episodes as Jessie's Evan Rachel Wood's, partner in The Once and Again television show. She made her debut on film, appearing as a character in Lost and Delirious by Susan Swan. Barton along with her co-stars Jessica Pare, Piper Perabo got mixed praises. Barton also appeared as Julie Johnson in Julie Johnson (2001) alongside Lili Taylor and Courtney Love playing the daughter of a woman involved in a lesbian relationship. Barton also had a supporting character in the teen independent drama Tart (2001) featuring Brad Renfro and Dominique Swain. Nadia Elena Comaneci..........................At the 1976 Olympics a 14-year-old Romanian captured the hearts and minds of the world with her daring and perfectio earning seven perfect tens three gold medals one silver and one bronze. Then she returned to Romania to a heroines welcome. The following year during the 1988 Olympics Comaneci won two additional gold medals as well as two silver which brought her Olympic total to 9 medals. Comaneci received her honors in the year 1996, after she was elected into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame. In 1999, ABC News and Ladies Home Journal named Comaneci as one of the top 100 female athletes from the 20th Century. Comaneci was one of the American Olympic Champion Bart Conner was married to her in April 1996. Together they had one child, Dylan Paul. The couple has several business ventures related to gymnastics. One of them is The Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci also serves on several charitable boards which include the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association Board of Directors and Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. She has also continued to help dozens charitable organizations across Romania as well as that of the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
