Taylor
Taylor Swift may be the most unique of pop stars. She was an artist capable of successfully cross the divide between country and pop, conquering the globe. Swift shed her roots in country music as if she was a second skin, and revealed she had the finest pop sensibility of the time. Swift was the only musician/singer to follow the zeitgeist of popular music on the road. Swift's early songs, including the neo song in tribute to Tim McGraw, showed off the talents of her. However, her album Fearless showed a singer-songwriter who was beginning to discover herself, and gaining a huge following. Fearless became a worldwide hit, not only in the United States (where it received with six platinum awards for Top Ten Hits Love Story and "You Belong with Me") however, in Canada, Australia and the U.K. and other countries. Swift could build on her popularity with Speak Now almost two year after. Through her next three albums, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017) Reputation (2017), her popularity increased and she was able to enter a music scene with a clear sense of where she was a part of. She stayed on top of the charts even when she dropped her own style on her sister albums Folklore and Evermore in the year 2020.
