Amber Benson (born April 14, 1970) is a famous American actor, performer, writer and director. She is most famous for her role as Tara Maclay in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson has also written, directed and starred her own film Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also starred in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson is the son born on the 8th of January 1977 to Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Her younger sister is Danielle, who has a career as an artist. The father of her is Jewish as is her mom. She educated Southern Baptist Benson grew up in the Reform synagogue located in Alabama. Benson's acting career continues to grow after the conclusion of Buffy. Benson was a part of movies like The Killing Jar, and shows such as Morganville The Series. Her creative talents are utilized on Ghosts of Albion, and she directed Drones (2010).
